Description

PEEK P20 (PolyEtherEtherKetone) discs are made of a white, machining, implant dental polymer for fixed and removable prostheses.

This new thermostable semi-crystalline thermoplastic material for dental use features excellent mechanical properties, including a modulus of elasticity comparable to that of natural cortical bone, and meets the most stringent biocompatibility requirements:

cytotoxicity (ISO 10993-5)
irritation & sensitisation (ISO 10993-10)
acute subchronic toxicity (ISO 10993-11)
genotoxicity (ISO 10993-3).
PEEK features high flexural strength and low coefficient of friction making it the ideal material for dental prostheses.
